APGA vows to dislodge PDP in Enugu

ALL Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, has vowed to dislodge the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  in the 2015 governorship election.
Speaking to Vanguard yesterday, State Chairman of APGA, Chief Okechukwu Nkoloagu said, “to say that PDP is the only ruling party in Enugu is their own opinion. But you must know that APGA has its soul here in South east, so nobody can categorically tell you that APGA cannot win election in Enugu even with the incumbency factor. That will not deter the support in Igboland. APGA is also a movement that enjoys fanatic support. People who believe in it want to die there for it.
”We are on the ground and we are strategizing to be able to take over the Lion Building (Government House) Enugu come 2015. We already have two credible governorship aspirants seeking the party’s slot. We will try to give them chance to have a consensus but if they don’t agree we have no other option than to go for primaries.
”Very soon, we will start town hall meetings to sensitise our people about the need for APGA to take over the administration of the state.”
