Anambra First Class Graduates To Receive N1m Each – Obaze

The PDP’s Gubernatorial candidate for Anambra general November 18th election, Mr Oseloka Henry Obaze, has promised that every Anambra indigene who finished with first class from any institution will be given N1million.

Speaking to newsmen at the  PDP’s campaign office in Awka, Anambra state, Obaze said that his government will involve the youth in all the tiers of the government, noting that the youth has an indispensable number in our society so it will be of great importance to involve them in our active government.

Through the Obaze’s “The OHO Compact” Obaze said that representation in government will reflect gender balance, equity, nonpartisanship and based on clear merit.
It can be recalled that during Obaze’s service as the Secretary to Anambra State Government, he pioneered the establishment of this feat by paying every first class graduate in Anambra N1m in a bid to encourage the hardworking youths. The recent government took over the power and scrapped this avenue of promoting, engaging, encouraging and empowering the youths. Upholding the bond of performance between the government and his people has remained Obaze’s determination.

His government will also involve the youth and promote the respect for the various branches and tiers of government and support the oversight responsibilities of the legislature, independence of the judiciary, and the autonomy of the local government.

According to “The OHO Compact”, Obaze’s government will conduct Local Government Elections promptly; and introduce and support the Charter of Townships and conversion of the present Town Union President-General System to a more operational, youth friendly, self-supporting and self-accounting Town Town Councils and Mayoral system in order to enhance grassroots governance and development.

"Anambra Deserves Better" he fondly says.
